Sardinia black jet helmet: island identity, recognizable style
By very strong demand, the black jet helmet dedicated to Sardinia joins the MM Independent Collection:
100% Made in Italy
ECE 22.06 certification
Limited Edition, only 300 pieces available
Reflective finish for better nighttime visibility
Comfortable, Durable, Practical
With its graphics in shades of black, red and gold, representing the symbols of the region, this jet helmet stands out for its strong territorial identity.
Moreover, the raised gold-colored inscriptions and finishes, visible even at night thanks to Chrometech® technology, add a further touch of prestige, portability and practicality.
Chrometech®: reflectivity in any lighting condition
CHROMETECH® is the only finish that offers a reflective effect in any lighting condition. For example, in the presence of artificial lights such as car headlights, Chrometech® bounces back the light source, becoming far more visible than a classic color.
This reflectivity effect allows the rider to be clearly visible on the road even from a long distance, especially at night, giving helmets incomparable depth and recognizability.
The symbols of Sardinian identity on the shell
The symbols of Sardinian identity are depicted on the shell. The first is the Four Moors flag (Drapeau aux Quatre Maures), of Aragonese origin, present on the right side in its modern form, with heads turned to the right — that is, towards Italy — and uncovered eyes, symbolizing the drive toward the future, and on the left side in its historical form, with blindfolded eyes and heads turned to the left — towards Spain — set against the Giants of Mont’e Prama.
At the back is depicted Judikissa Eleonora d’Arborea, who ruled over the most enduring Judicate in Sardinian history, the Judicate of Arborea, shown with the Eleonorae falcon at her feet, in Italian Falco della regina, a bird of prey that takes its name from Eleonora herself, due to the special anti-poaching protection she instituted.
Below, the two masks of the Sardinian carnival of Mamoiada, the Mamuthones and the Issohadores, surround the inscription “Sardigna”, the historical name of the region.
Moving up toward the forehead, one then finds the coin of the Sardus Pater, also called “Babai”, the ancient coin with paternal symbolism, on which the grandfather of the Emperor Augustus is depicted. Higher still, the uprooted tree, symbol of the Judicate of Arborea, and the pavoncella (lapwing), a symbol of Byzantine origin.
On the temples, two golden filaments, one on each side, bear the inscription “T’assicuro ch’a tie solu bramo”, the famous phrase from the piece “No Potho Reposare”, born from the poem “A Diosa” by the poet Badore Sini, then set to music shortly after by the composer Giuseppe Rachel, later sung by several choirs and by the famous Maria Carta, known to younger audiences through the rendition by Andrea Parodi.
Produced as a limited edition. Only 300 pieces available. Each helmet bears its serial number (e.g. “1/300”, customizable on request, subject to availability).
